This site is dedicated to the memory of Des.
Des was born in Effingham Common on September 13, 1931. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.
Over 80 people attended the service at Guildford and we were joined by about 60 people afterwards at The Woodman in tribute to his life.

Thoughts
Having known Des all my life, I knew him as a cheerful person who always liked a chat if you met him out and about. I always seemed destined to meet him in the car park at Tesco's in Leatherhead and we used to stand and chat and put the world to rights ! I know he will be missed.
